Hi there! I may no longer look like this but this is still me - tough as ever in my muscle tees yet soft and sweet with my bangles.
I’ve spent close to thirty years helping brands tell their best possible stories and find their voice using the long game method by building a foundation of trust, both internally and externally.
I'm currently working as the Executive Creative Director of 22Squared building contemporary messaging foundations for influential brands such as NCAA Atlanta, Baskin-Robbins, Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Varo Bank, and Southeast Toyota. I'm also leading an incredible team to change the culture of toxic masculinity with the NO PAUSE PROJECT. A grass-roots movement
In a past life, I was with Ogilvy NY for 13 years, where I ran both the IKEA USA and Citizens Bank businesses. For IKEA, I helped reposition its US brand from Scandinavian cheap flatpack to a strong US cultural influencer through relevant social/digital activations and direct experiences. For Citizens, I helped usher the bank’s image from traditional financial institution to a modern brand appealing to millennials. And before that? Well, I helped launch an integrated global campaign for Fanta, and spent quality time on other iconic brands such as Unilever, Stoli and Heineken.
I’m a truly passionate leader and I dedicate my energy to bringing the best out of my teams and my clients. People that thrive always bring their best selves, their best points of view and their best ideas, and I work very hard to create an environment that fosters everyone to feel this way. I love my work and I love strategic problem solving with a team.
I don’t believe diversity is limited to skin color but about a range of experiences and perspectives.
And I believe an idea can come from anywhere because great work doesn't just come from one great person.
I was named one of Campaign USA’s 40/40 2022 Honorees. I’ve been a speaker at the 3% Conference where I talked about Creativity at Scale and participated in a panel to help raise money for the Art Directors Club of Canada.
